FAYETTEVILLE VA MEDICAL CENTER HOSTS WELCOME HOME FOR EVENT FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES

This past weekend The Army’s Army and other community partners came together to thank troops for their service and provide information on available resources.

The VA Medical Center hosted a “Welcome Home” event to celebrate the return of Operation Enduring Freedom/ Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Operation New Dawn (OEF / OIF / OND) veterans and their families. The event kicked off with an opening ceremony, followed by presentation of colors and welcomes from medical center and community leaders. Guest enjoyed a free lunch, along with live entertainment!

Not only did Uncle Sam come to enjoy the festivities, but Senator Kay Hagan made a special appearance to show her support.
