HEROES CRUSADE: AN ATHLETE’S CAMPAIGN
The Army’s Army needs your help! We are only three weeks away from a wonderful heartfelt event that I would like to tell you more about. It is taking place right here in Fayetteville/Cumberland County.
Heroes Crusade: An Athelete’s Campaign is a special event to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, Green Beret Foundation, RDU AMBUCS and Ride 2 Recovery. The campaign consists of three events: The Heroes Crusade Golf Tournament, The Fallen Warrior Rugby Tournament, and the 5k Run/Walk/Bike.
This event is being held in conjuction with Heroes Homecoming, a 10 day welcome home for our Vietnam veterans. These events truly show our community’s military support. I know it’s getting close but I would love to help in any way you need. I have a BA in Psychology, working on my Masters. I have volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America for about 7 years, helping with their big events. I also volunteered with the Key Wives for the USMC. Please contact me if I can be of assistance.
